Every penny you raise from taking part in the Starlight Walk will help Macmillan to support local people living with cancer. On these pages you’ll find everything you need to help you raise as much as possible.Last year saw us smash the £200,000 barrier for the total amount raised from the three walks so far. 2009 alone saw an incredible £65,000 raised thanks to the dedication of the 600 walkers and everyone else involved. We're excited to see what you can achieve in 2010!!
Raise money online
It’s really easy to set up you own online fundraising page and to get everyone you know to sponsor you! Just a few simple steps and you’re off!Gift Aid
For every £1 you’re sponsored, Macmillan can claim an extra 25p from the government through Gift Aid. All your sponsors need to do is give their address and tick a box confirming they’re eligible.Last year Macmillan lost over £5,000 in potential Starlight Walk Gift Aid through sponsor forms not being completed properly.
